Who Are We

Christina
Now you can put a face to the name this is me (Christina) Well that is what I look like (on a good day anyway!)
But where do I herald from you might ask? Well I'm the brains behind Christina's Crafts (if you call putting all your available cash in one basket, writing off all your free time & canceling any holiday plans for what seems a life time, brains!?..) I must admit there is an awful lot of passion thrown in which makes all the hard work worthwhile.
A born & bred Kiwi, I started life in Lower Hutt & grew up on the Lower Hutt Fire Station, yep dad was a fireman! I immigrated to Australia in 1979 & have only been home twice since, but still hold a candle for my weekends & holidays spent in theWairarapa with my Nana.
I'm a Christian & an active member of Upwey Baptist Church.
I am a passionate Hills residents & love the lifestyle of living on a mountain (even though the city is only an hour away & our closest major shopping centre is only 10 mins away) I guess you could say we have the best of both worlds.

Ashley and Christina
This is my son Ashley, this picture was taken in Brisbane @ SDU 2006 where we had a wonderful time together doing classes.
You used to see Ashley occasionally in the shop, helping mum out. He is also our Mr Muscle Man when it comes to shows, lifting & carrying all our precious stands. He's quick with a smile & always happy to help (and even if he can't he always tries & you have to give him credit for that!) Ashley has been learning a lot of the back end stuff & successfully completed a Certificate 2 in Information Technology in 2008, hopefully he will be our up & coming computer expert!

Miss Becky
We are pleased to introduce you to Miss Becky.
Miss Becky is such a little lady, always excited to greet new people & freely give cuddles & love's. When the store was open you will find her occasionally there, or peaking out the front window watching the world in Upwey pass her by, this was her favourite place.
Especially chosen by us from the Lost Dogs home, she has definitely landed on all four of her little feet & has us wrapped around her little paw.
These days she is a little grayer, in fact it was almost as if she changed overnight, she is willing & wagging when customers come around to pick up orders & still freely give cuddles.
